Your Role

We are currently seeking a Resident Automation Technician to ensure the seamless operation of intricate systems at our client's facility. This position involves approximately 70% of your time spent on-site, with the remaining 30% dedicated to traveling for client visits across various regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain optimal functionality of the facility while adhering to established KPIs and contractual obligations.
  • Work collaboratively with technical teams to address issues, coordinate on-site and remote support, manage spare parts logistics, and prepare proposals.
  • Conduct corrective maintenance and troubleshoot machinery as needed.
  • Implement preventive maintenance tasks as per the maintenance schedule agreed upon with clients.
  • Participate in regular meetings with client representatives.
  • Document and report on activities, issues, and resolutions to both the client and E80 Group.
  • Encourage continuous improvement initiatives and propose viable solutions.
  • Provide on-the-job training for client personnel.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory on-site, recommending reorder levels and procurement as necessary.
  • Organize and maintain any required safety documentation for the client.

Technical Qualifications

  • Technical degree in electromechanics or industrial automation.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in roles such as Electromechanical Technician, Electrician, or Automation Engineer within the automation or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong comprehension of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.
  • Familiarity with Siemens PLC, Beckhoff, Fanuc, and Allen Bradley; knowledge of Rockwell is advantageous but not essential.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Eligibility to work in Spain without restrictions.
