Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Quality Assurance Operational Excellence Manager to enhance our operational capabilities and ensure superior quality standards across our organization.

Reporting directly to the Global Quality Director, this role encompasses the management of quality assurance initiatives, driving operational efficiencies, and fostering a culture of excellence in quality management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead and oversee continuous improvement initiatives within the Global Quality Operations team to boost efficiency, minimize waste, and elevate overall quality.
  • Champion the implementation of Lean Six Sigma and other pertinent improvement methodologies to cultivate an improvement-oriented culture within the Global Quality Operations team.
  • Formulate and enforce standard operating procedures across the Quality Operations team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine processes and enhance productivity.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing, best practices, and the adoption of innovative approaches within the Quality Operations team.
  • Provide strategic input to the Lean Six Sigma framework to foster a robust culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Advocate for the assessment of benefits through favorable KPI movements and the comprehension of associated financial implications.
  • Develop improvement capabilities focused on delivering value to our customers efficiently by mentoring and supporting employees in honing their operational excellence skills.
  • Possess expertise in complex process mapping across intricate end-to-end supply chains.
  • Promote an active learning environment aimed at enhancing capabilities and optimizing workflows.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or Engineering.
  • Over 7 years of professional experience utilizing improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and Shingo.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of GMP, FDA, EMA, and other applicable regulatory standards.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies.
  • Proficient facilitation skills for designing and conducting improvement workshops and training sessions.
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management abilities, with a hands-on approach to detail.
  • Experience with budget accountability.
  • Effective team player with strong communication and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
