About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Quality Assurance Operational Excellence Manager to join our team at Galderma. As a key member of our Global Quality Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring excellence in quality management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Projects: Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall quality within the Global Quality Operations team.
  • Implement Lean Six Sigma and Improvement Methodologies: Promote the use of Lean Six Sigma and other relevant improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence and support the development of an improvement-focused culture within the Global Quality Operations team.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures: Create and implement standard operating procedures across the Quality Operations team to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and promote knowledge management and best practice sharing.
  • Provide Input and Influence: Contribute to the development of a strong culture of data-driven decision making and promote the valuation of benefits through favorable KPI movement and understanding of related financial impacts.
  • Build Improvement Capability: Teach, coach, mentor, and support employees and teams to develop their operational excellence skills and enable them to use improvement techniques on their own.
  • Support an Active Learning Environment: Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, with a focus on enhancing capabilities and ways of working.
Requirements
  • University Degree: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or Engineering.
  • Professional Experience: 7+ years of experience using improvement methods, such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and Shingo.
  • Certification: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, EMA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Change Management: Good knowledge of change management methodologies.
  • Facilitation Skills: Ability to design and run improvement workshops and training sessions.
  • Business Partnering: Strong business partnering, stakeholder management, and hands-on skills.
  • Budget Accountability: Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Communication and People Management: Strong communication and people management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with other European languages a plus.
