Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated professional to take on the role of Global Quality Assurance Operational Excellence Manager. In this pivotal position, you will report directly to the Global Quality Director and play a crucial role in enhancing our quality assurance processes, driving operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards in quality management.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead and oversee continuous improvement initiatives within the Global Quality Operations team to boost efficiency, minimize waste, and elevate overall quality.
- Champion the implementation of Lean Six Sigma and other pertinent improvement methodologies to foster a culture centered on operational excellence within the Global Quality Operations team.
- Formulate and enforce standard operating procedures across the Quality Operations team.
- Collaborate with various teams to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
- Encourage knowledge sharing, best practices, and adoption across the Quality Operations team.
- Provide insights and influence the Lean Six Sigma framework to cultivate a robust culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Advocate for the assessment of benefits through favorable KPI movements and an understanding of associated financial impacts.
- Develop improvement capabilities focused on delivering value to our customers efficiently by mentoring and supporting employees and teams in honing their operational excellence skills.
- Possess expertise in complex process mapping across intricate end-to-end supply chains.
- Foster an active learning environment aimed at enhancing capabilities and improving operational methodologies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or Engineering.
- Over 7 years of professional experience utilizing improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or Shingo.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of GMP, FDA, EMA, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Proficient in change management methodologies.
- Excellent facilitation skills for designing and conducting improvement workshops and training sessions.
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management abilities, with a hands-on approach to detail.
- Experience with budget accountability.
- Effective team player with strong communication and people management skills.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional European languages is advantageous.
