About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate sales forecasts, analyzing business trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive demand plans for specific business units/product lines in alignment with internal customer demands.
  • Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
  • Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning.
  • Continuously improve demand planning processes and tools to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of the sourcing metrics and scorecards, based on analysis of reports and consolidated data.
  • Monitors sourcing KPI's and drives them into actions.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis to management on demand planning performance and market trends.
  • Participate and support S&OP meetings with demand information and analysis.
  • Contributes in driving operational excellence when translating business strategies & decisions into effective & compliant execution of all related policies and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain or other relevant fields through experience in Demand Planning / SCM department of a large company.
  • +3 years of experience in Demand Planning or related S&OP roles.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of software related to demand planning is preferred (Logility or other Demand Planning tools).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.
  • Experienced with other software packages including Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge on Power BI or another analytical tool is a plus.
  • Fluent professional English level is a must.
