About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher for Printed Fuel Cells and Electrolysers to join our team at Eurecat - Centro Tecnológico. As a key member of our Functional Printing & Embedded Devices Unit, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions for sustainable energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analysis of state-of-the-art fuel cell and electrolyser technologies
  • Process and characterize materials for membranes and catalysts
  • Perform physicochemical characterization of materials and surfaces using electrical, optical, and morphological techniques
  • Assemble and simulate electrochemical cells and fuel cells
  • Design, program, and assemble gas control systems
  • Present results and prepare technical reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (BSc), Master's or PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or similar disciplines
  • Essential experience in electrochemistry or a related field
  • Previous knowledge of hydrogen production and conversion systems is highly valued
  • Experience in power electronic systems is highly valuable
