About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher to join our team at Eurecat - Centro Tecnológico. As a Researcher for Printed Fuel Cells and Electrolysers, you will play a key role in developing innovative solutions for sustainable energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analysis of state-of-the-art in fuel cell and electrolyzer development
  • Process and characterize materials for membranes and catalysts
  • Perform physicochemical characterization of materials and surfaces
  • Assemble and simulate electrochemical cells and/or fuel cells
  • Design, program, and assemble gas control systems
  • Analyze and present results, and prepare technical reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (BSc), Master's or PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or similar disciplines
  • Essential experience of at least one subject in electrochemistry or similar
  • Previous knowledge of hydrogen production and conversion systems as sustainable energy will be valued
  • Highly valuable any experience in the development and characterization of fuel cells and electrolyzers and associated materials, power electronic systems
