We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Scientist to join our team at EURECAT. As a key member of our Functional Printing & Embedded Devices Unit, you will play a crucial role in the development of innovative solutions based on functional materials and devices.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and development of printed sensors and biosensors for health and environmental monitoring applications.
- Design and fabricate monitoring platforms based on printed sensors combined with microfluidics chips.
- Study state-of-the-art technologies and manipulate biological samples.
- Develop and characterize electrochemical and multiplexed biosensors for the quantitative detection of diagnostic biomarkers.
- Collaborate with our team to advance scientific knowledge in the field of health and environmental monitoring.
- PhD in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Essential experience in at least one subject of chemistry and biochemistry or similar.
- Highly valued experience in the development and characterization of sensors, particularly in biosensors.
- Highly valued knowledge in printing techniques and surface treatment.
- Permanent contract.
- Hybrid work (home office/work in the office).
- Flexible Schedule.
- Shorter workday on Friday and Summer Schedule.
