About the Role:

Are you dedicated to maintaining exceptional software quality and driving excellence? At DNV, we are looking for a QA Software Engineer to spearhead innovative testing methodologies and enhance our quality assurance processes.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop Comprehensive Testing Solutions: Formulate robust testing strategies, methodologies, and plans, while creating automation scripts and building automated testing infrastructure.
  • Enhance Engineering Excellence: Identify and implement optimized solutions to improve engineering efficiencies and address gaps in testing.
  • Automate for Efficiency: Design and execute automated processes to enhance testability and overall productivity.
  • Measure and Improve Metrics: Define and monitor key productivity and product health metrics, focusing on quality, stability, and performance.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Testing Efforts: Collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, and Software Engineers to establish effective testing strategies and ensure proper test execution.
  • Advocate for Best Practices: Promote new tools, technologies, and best practices in testing across teams, providing education on advancements to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Engage Early in Product Development: Participate in product development by reviewing designs and documentation, exploring features early, and providing informed feedback.

About You:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT quality assurance and testing.
  • A proven track record in developing and executing IT test strategies and methodologies.
  • Demonstrable experience in API Testing.
  • A quality-focused mindset, with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:

It would be advantageous to have:

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and SCRUM processes.
