Software Quality Assurance Engineer

ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to design and implement both manual and automated testing processes to guarantee the quality of our products. This position is integral to our development center in Barcelona.
You will collaborate with a diverse and skilled international team focused on online credit services, utilizing agile development methodologies.
We value intelligent individuals who are proactive and excel in teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
· Engage with a cross-functional, self-organized team and contribute throughout the entire development lifecycle.
· Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure alignment on quality standards.
· Conduct both automated and manual testing of our microservices architecture.
· Manage defects and bugs effectively.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
· Over 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
· In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
· Proven experience in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
· Practical experience with both white-box and black-box testing techniques.
· Familiarity with automated testing tools.
· Understanding of databases and scripting languages.
· Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
· Background in startup environments, preferably within eCommerce or IT sectors.
· Knowledge of performance and/or security testing is advantageous.
