Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

You'll work closely with interdisciplinary teams to analyze user requirements and functional specifications, deriving meaningful test cases and automating tests or writing test procedures as needed. You'll take ownership of clarifying requirements and aligning with the development team on implementation specifics. We live by Agile values and encourage active participation in our feedback and error culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute testing strategy and approach
  • Technically lead on testing approach and automation solutions
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, C# DOT.NET, C++
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following IDEs: JetBrains IntelliJ, MS Visual Studio Code, Eclipse
  • Experience with various QA and support related tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Maven, JUnit/TestNG, Cucumber/Gherkin, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
  • Proficiency in using Git and Azure DevOps
  • Experience with creating automated tests for API, UI, and Database layers
Requirements
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent field
  • 3+ years of direct related experience in Software Quality Assurance and testing with proficiency in Behavioral + Test-Driven Development principles
