The Role

We are on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Software Engineer who has a strong technical foundation in software testing and quality assurance. In this role, you will work closely with local and development teams to design, implement, and execute effective quality assurance strategies for our software applications. Your responsibilities will include ensuring product excellence, identifying and documenting issues, and playing a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for software applications.
  • Testing Activities: Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to verify product functionality and performance.

Test Automation:

  • Create and maintain automated testing scripts to enhance the efficiency of the testing process.
  • Implement and execute automated test suites within continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) frameworks.

Defect Management:

  • Identify and document software defects, ensuring detailed and accurate bug reports.
  • Collaborate with development teams to track and resolve reported issues.

Quality Assurance Standards:

  • Ensure adherence to established quality standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of quality assurance documentation.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with software development and HMI teams to understand product requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and review sessions.

Your Profile

Who You Are:

  • Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in software quality assurance, encompassing both manual and automated testing.
  • Familiar with test automation tools and frameworks, with proven experience in Git, Azure DevOps, and SpecFlow.
  • Strong background in object-oriented programming (C# and C++).
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies and experienced in Agile team environments.
  • Possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with proficiency in English.
  • Open to travel across Europe.
