About Siemens Smart Infrastructure: We are a global leader in providing integrated systems, products, and services aimed at ensuring the sustainable, reliable, and efficient transmission and distribution of energy.

Role Overview: As part of our Electrification and Automation business unit, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing medium and low voltage solutions, along with energy automation projects.

In response to our success in the data center sector and our ambition for further growth, we are looking for a Senior Power Solutions Engineer to foster long-term, trusting relationships with our clients in the data center industry. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing the primary electrical infrastructure for data centers, ensuring all relevant interfaces are considered.
  • Translating design outlines into effective solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Taking ownership of design decisions, understanding their functional and financial implications.
  • Supporting the sales team to enhance the development of key global accounts.
  • Building strong relationships with Siemens' international teams involved in project capture and execution.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in power engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing power transmission and distribution systems, particularly in critical environments such as data centers.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Spanish market.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach, demonstrating initiative in seeking opportunities.
  • Resilience and determination to manage both short and long design cycles.
  • A keen interest in interface management and the creativity to think beyond conventional industry practices.
  • A flexible attitude with a willingness to travel.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential.
