About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power Solution Engineer/ Electrical Designer to join our team at Siemens S.A. in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our Data Center team, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing the main electrical infrastructure of Data Centers for the Spanish market.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical power distribution systems for Data Centers, including all relevant interfaces.
- Translate design outlines into solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.
- Take ownership of design choices and their related functional and financial impact.
- Develop close relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Support the sales organization to enable the further development of global named accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Power Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in the design of power transmission and distribution systems and/or projects ranging from medium voltage down to low voltage in critical environments, preferably Data Centers.
- At least 5 years of experience working in the Spanish market.
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence key technical stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Eager and energetic, using skills and initiative to seek out opportunities instead of waiting for them to come.
- Resilience and determination to nurture short and long design cycles.
- Special interest in interface management and creativity to think beyond industry standards/practices.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to travel.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is a must.
