Siemens Smart Infrastructure stands as a prominent global provider of innovative products, integrated systems, solutions, and services aimed at ensuring sustainable, reliable, and efficient energy management.

The Electrification and Automation division is dedicated to the design and execution of medium and low voltage solutions, along with energy automation projects.

Due to our success in the Data Center sector and our aspirations for further growth, we are on the lookout for a Senior Power Solutions Engineer to foster long-term, trust-based relationships with our Data Center clientele. In this position, you will oversee the design, optimization, and implementation of the primary electrical infrastructure for Data Centers in the Spanish market. Engaging with clients and participating actively during the sales and execution phases will be integral to your role. Our clientele includes leading Data Center operators, consultants, and electrical contractors. You will join the Siemens international Center of Competence for Data Centers, a team solely focused on this dynamic market.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Designing the core electrical infrastructure of Data Centers, ensuring all relevant interfaces are addressed.
  • Translating design outlines into solutions that not only meet but exceed client expectations.
  • Taking ownership of design decisions, considering their functional and financial implications.
  • Enhancing technical relationships with end clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Supporting the sales team to facilitate the growth of global named accounts.
  • Building strong connections with Siemens' international capture and execution teams.

What Skills and Experience Will You Bring?

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in power engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing power transmission and distribution systems, particularly in critical environments like Data Centers.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Spanish market.
  • Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence key technical stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach, utilizing your skills and initiative to identify opportunities.
  • Resilience and determination to manage both short and long design cycles.
  • A keen interest in interface management and the creativity to innovate beyond industry standards.
  • A flexible mindset and willingness to travel.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential.
