About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Accreditations to join our Quality, Accreditations and Rankings Department at IE University. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the university's accreditation efforts and ensuring compliance with national and international accreditation policies and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for synergies between accrediting agencies' criteria and develop solutions to capitalize on them.
  • Manage and drive improvements to existing data-gathering systems and procedures.
  • Consolidate and deepen relationships with internal stakeholders, promoting excellence and value-added contributions to our unit.
  • Promote compliance with internal policies and accreditor standards, and encourage the accreditations team to identify non-compliances.
  • Produce and optimize documents, reports, and presentations to support accreditation processes and initiatives.
  • Ensure timely submission of surveys and follow-up reports required to maintain accreditations.
  • Drive and monitor internal initiatives for improvement required by accrediting agencies.
  • Address academic and professional staff inquiries related to accreditations.
  • Lead strategic and special projects as requested by the head of the unit.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree from a top-ranked university is preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in the higher education sector.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Solid communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and present material clearly and concisely.
