About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Privacy Senior Analyst to join our team at The Cigna Group. As a key member of our Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of data protection regulations across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level regulatory advice and support to senior management on all matters of data protection, with a focus on GDPR compliance.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including senior managers, compliance colleagues, and external partners.
  • Establish and execute mechanisms to test the continued effectiveness of our data protection arrangements and provide input to the development and review of our annual compliance plan.
  • Support the maintenance and embedding of our Compliance Policy Framework and a positive compliance culture in relation to data protection.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of working in a data protection function within a financial services organization, ideally within health or general insurance with a multinational focus.
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of the European regulatory landscape in the field of data protection.
  • Sound practical knowledge of principles, rules, and guidance relating specifically to data protection.
  • Highly developed and confident communication skills, with the ability to build excellent working relationships with all levels of the business.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Acts with high levels of integrity and personal and professional ethics, displaying an open and trustworthy attitude.
