The Cigna Group is seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy Senior Analyst to join our EGS Legal and Compliance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level regulatory advice and support to management on all matters of data protection impacting current and planned future business activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide GDPR data protection input to a range of business-led projects and initiatives across International Markets.
- Support management with the implementation of any potential regulatory change in any jurisdiction.
- Maintain and embed the EGS Compliance Policy Framework and a positive compliance culture in relation to data protection.
- Establish and execute appropriate mechanisms to test the continued effectiveness of the arrangements in place to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance in the field of data protection.
- Provide input to the development and review of the annual compliance plan with regard to data protection matters.
- Previous experience of working in a data protection function within a financial services organization, ideally within health or general insurance with a multinational focus.
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
- Sound understanding of the European regulatory landscape in the field of data protection, and ideally across several jurisdictions across Europe.
- Strong practical knowledge of principles, rules, and guidance relating specifically to data protection.
- Highly developed and confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, exhibiting good questioning and listening skills.
- Consultative, approachable, and persistent.
- Able to build excellent working relationships with all levels of the business through effective stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Acts with high levels of integrity and high levels of personal and professional ethics and impartiality.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Practical knowledge and capability with using Microsoft Office products.
