About the Role:
As a Global Marketing Director for Amadeus' Travel Unit, you will be responsible for leading the central marketing function for our Travel Unit. Your primary goal will be to inspire our customers to achieve their ambitions with the support of Amadeus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the Global Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy for the Travel Unit, aligning with Amadeus' overall business objectives.
- Develop Marketing Plans and Budgets: Create and manage marketing plans and budgets for the Travel Unit, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Customer Vertical Marketing: Define and execute Customer Vertical Marketing strategies and plans, focusing on delivering tailored marketing solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
- Marketing Content Development: Develop core marketing content for Customer Verticals, ensuring consistency and relevance across all marketing channels.
- Marketing Campaigns and Communications: Design, deploy, and monitor marketing campaigns and central customer communications, ensuring maximum impact and engagement.
- Support Commercial and Product Teams: Provide relevant marketing research and insights to support commercial and product teams in driving business growth.
- Business Development and Representation: Actively contribute to business development, representing Amadeus as a speaker at industry events and conferences.
- Team Leadership: Create a high-performance team, developing talent and building team engagement, to drive marketing excellence.
About You:
We are looking for a seasoned marketing professional with a proven background in B2B Marketing in large, matrix organizations. You should have experience leading global teams and driving marketing transformations in B2B environments. Strong travel industry knowledge, business acumen, and people leadership skills are essential. Hands-on experience in Strategy & Planning, Customer and Product Marketing, and Content Marketing is required. Strong influencing and storytelling abilities are also necessary. Fluency in English is a must.
