About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Global Sales Manager to join our team at Glovo. As a critical asset for our growth efforts, you will be at the forefront of our expansion plans, prioritizing the addition of new retail partners and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Activate top retail partners by collaborating with local retail teams in over 16 countries to align on priorities and ensure their success.
  • Lead global negotiations with potential partners, leveraging your strategic process and relationship-building skills to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Elevate the performance of local teams through feedback, support, country visits, training, and hands-on involvement in negotiations when necessary.
  • Build playbooks and tools for local teams, as well as the commercial strategy, to drive business growth and excellence.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of over five years of experience in leading commercial teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in complex negotiations with high strategic components, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a natural bias for action and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to achieve outstanding results.
  • Retail business acumen, including revenue dynamics and key drivers, with a proven ability to negotiate and build strong relationships with major retail players.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, to bring clarity to local teams and partners.
  • Data-driven decision-making, with a data-centric approach to make decisions based on sound analysis and business judgment.
