Position Overview

In this capacity, you will be integrated into the Global Controlling organization, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of ESG Reporting & Controls (ESG PMO). The ESG Governance and Compliance Analyst will be tasked with the development and oversight of TE's Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) policies, procedures, guidelines, directives, templates, and educational programs. This role will involve engaging with Subject Matter Experts in ESG compliance and other functional stakeholders throughout the organization to create and update standard documentation related to ESG initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the formulation and upkeep of ESG policies, procedures, guidelines, directives, templates, and other relevant documentation.
  • Assist stakeholders in navigating the established change management process for updating existing ESG policies and documentation.
  • Foster effective partnerships within the Global Finance, Legal, and ESG teams, promoting involvement from team members across various regions and sectors to ensure a unified and prioritized approach to ESG compliance.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the ESG organization and across other functions and businesses.
  • Design and maintain a comprehensive learning program for diverse stakeholders and functions.
  • Identify requirements for automated compliance controls and measures.
  • Offer strategic thought leadership in ESG matters.
  • Provide regulatory guidance to functional stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sustainability, Law, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in managing corporate policies and procedures or related ESG topics.
  • Familiarity with ESG-related regulations.
  • Experience in training personnel on policies, processes, and automation tools.
  • Proven ability to work with geographically diverse teams in a matrix environment.
  • Experience in implementing automated compliance systems.
  • Capability to assess compliance risks and develop proactive strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Adaptability to change and flexibility in response to evolving business needs.
