Job Title: Senior Data Governance Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Governance Analyst to join our Finance Transformation team. As a key member of our Data Governance team, you will play a critical role in defining and deploying our Data Governance Framework to maximize its impact, reach, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Governance Framework:
  • Contribute to the definition and evolution of our Data Governance Framework to secure founding principles, drive proper ownership and accountability of data, and facilitate other teams' understanding of data, its lineage, and ownership.
  • Develop data policies, roles, and responsibilities to ensure data quality and governance.
Framework Deployment:
  • Support the deployment of our framework to data domains and data sets.
  • Be a key point of contact and change agent for Data Governance.
  • Support the appointment of data owners and stewards.
Data Assurance and Quality:
  • Support data stewards on data assurance and data quality.
  • Understand current processes and pain points.
  • Define data quality business rules per object in a centralized referential.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis on data quality.
  • Automated data quality monitoring to feed a central data quality control tower.
Requirements:
  • MS degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related degree.
  • 5+ years of proven working experience as a Data Governance analyst or a similar position.
  • Proficiency in Data and BI, including data governance principles, data modeling, data quality/assurance, BI/reporting tools, and SQL.
  • Working experience on Commercial or Financial data domains would be a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ease to work in an agile, fast-paced, technological, international, and intercultural environment.
  • Good communication, stakeholder management, and change management skillset.
  • Fluent in English.
