Position Overview:

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Global Controlling organization, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of ESG Reporting & Controls. As an ESG Governance and Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for the development and management of TE's Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) policies, procedures, directives, templates, and training programs. This position will require you to engage with Subject Matter Experts in ESG compliance and various functional stakeholders across the organization to create and update standard documentation pertinent to ESG initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the creation and upkeep of ESG policies, procedures, directives, templates, and other related documentation.
  • Assist stakeholders in navigating the established change management process for updating existing ESG policies and controls documentation.
  • Foster strong business relationships within the Global Finance, Legal, and ESG teams, promoting collaboration among team members across different regions and business units to ensure a cohesive and prioritized approach to ESG compliance.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the ESG organization and across other functions and business areas.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive learning program for various stakeholders and functions.
  • Identify requirements for automated compliance controls and measures.
  • Provide strategic insights and thought leadership.
  • Offer regulatory guidance to functional stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sustainability, Law, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including managing corporate policies and procedures or ESG-related topics.
  • Familiarity with ESG regulations.
  • Experience in training employees on policies, processes, and automation tools.
  • Proven ability to work with geographically diverse teams in a matrix environment.
  • Experience in implementing automated compliance systems.
  • Capability to assess compliance risks and develop proactive strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills for internal and external audiences.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Adaptability to changing business needs.
