Bunge is seeking a highly skilled Trade Assistant to join our team in Galicia. As a key member of our Sales Department, you will be responsible for standardizing plant requirements, creating a database of customer logistics needs, and negotiating freight costs with customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Standardize all plant requirements for loading and create a database of customer logistics needs.
- Negotiate freight costs with customers in coordination with the Sales Manager.
- Centralize all call-offs and complaints from the three plants.
- Accommodate call-offs per plant according to refinery planning.
- Forecast monthly needs aligned to refinery utilization and sales program forecast.
- Manage customer pricing and contracts, ensuring execution and monitoring of backlogs and financing charges.
- Follow up on receivables to maintain working capital performance and implement financial tools to improve KPIs.
- Develop a positive attitude towards continuous improvement and learning.
- Stay up-to-date with current systems to automate flows and obtain the best information through the existing ERP (SAP).
- 5 years of working experience in a related field.
- University degree in business or a related field.
- Skilled in decision-making and negotiation.
- Fluent Spanish and English, with additional languages (French and Catalan) a plus.
- Customer focus, teamwork, entrepreneurship, results orientation, independence, and ability to take decisions and influence others.
