Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Robotics Specialist to join our team at Universal Robots. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring their UR robots are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site support for customers, diagnosing and repairing issues with UR robots
  • Offer remote technical assistance through various communication channels
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including case management and warranty information
  • Manage service cases from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless support and service delivery
  • Meet and exceed technical support KPIs for case resolution and customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Associate degree or higher in a technical field or engineering
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in robotics or industrial automation
  • Strong mechanical and electrical background, with previous field troubleshooting and repair experience preferred
  • Functional knowledge of high-level programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python is a plus
  • Excellent customer-facing skills, with ability to analyze problems and provide effective solutions
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple service cases simultaneously
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments and ability to work independently or as part of a team
