Our Robotics and Automation Unit

We are seeking a highly motivated Robotics Software Engineer with a special interest in applied R&D in Cognitive Robotics. The successful candidate will have a good level of software development for robotics solutions, including ROS2/ROS, and a particular interest in specializing and developing a career in Cognitive Robotics.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Research and Development

Contribute to the scientific development of projects, focusing on the design, development, validation, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions.

Software Design and Development

Design, develop, and implement scalable and modular architectures and solutions using C++, Python, and ROS/ROS2.

Concept Development

Participate in the definition and development of new concepts and robotic ideas, driving innovation in the field of Cognitive Robotics.

Project Support

Provide sporadic support and supervision to robot integration and field trials, ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Scientific Publications

Contribute to scientific publications, sharing knowledge and expertise in the field of Cognitive Robotics.

Project Management

Support project management to ensure proper project execution, establishing and maintaining contact with clients and partners in consortiums.

Requirements

  1. Education and Experience

MSc or equivalent experience in Robotics, AI, Computer Vision, or a related discipline.

Technical Skills

Strong software development skills, with proven experience in C++, Python, ROS/ROS2, and software documentation.
