Global Supply Chain Director

Lilly is a global healthcare leader seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Global Supply Chain Excellence organization. As the Associate Director Global Supply Chain - Transport, you will be responsible for defining and documenting global business processes, identifying and driving improvements, and governing execution of the business processes.
Key Responsibilities- Process Governance: Develop a companywide strategic roadmap to improve Transport process maturity, aligning strategic roadmap with key stakeholders across functions, hierarchy, and different parts of the business.
- Process Design: Serve as an expert and key team member in major process Global Supply Chain design changes, documenting and mapping the global business process, capturing and analyzing business requirements, and translating these into standardized business processes.
- Measurement and Continuous Improvement: Track benefits and improvement into the business, channel continuous improvement ideas, and select suitable ones to turn into projects, ensuring the Transport review processes happen on time.
- BS or MS degree in Materials Management, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 5 years of manufacturing and/or supply chain experience with understanding of material flows, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong Materials Movement business process knowledge and knowledge of systems required to manage material transport internally, inter-company, and last mile (ERP; WMS; TMS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, good problem-solving and influencing skills, and ability to analyze project needs and balance competing interests.
- Project management skills to manage overall transformation or continuous improvement projects across multiple geographies.
