Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Associate Director Global Supply Chain - Transport. This role is responsible for defining, maintaining, and sustaining the global Transport process, which includes defining and documenting business process steps, designing process flow, and implementing transformational or continuous improvement changes.
Key Responsibilities- Process Governance: Develop a companywide strategic roadmap to improve Transport process maturity, aligning it with key stakeholders across functions, hierarchy, and different parts of the business.
- Process Design: Serve as an expert and key team member in major process Global Supply Chain design changes, documenting and mapping the global business process, and capturing and analyzing business requirements.
- Measurement and Continuous Improvement: Track benefits and improvement into the business, channel continuous improvement ideas, and ensure the Transport review processes happen on time.
- Education: BS or MS degree in Materials Management, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of manufacturing and/or supply chain experience with understanding of material flows, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Skills: Strong Materials Movement business process knowledge, knowledge of systems required to manage material transport, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
This is a full-time position with normal work shift. Travel requirements are not specified.
