Senior Financial Accountant

What We Provide:

- Assist management with daily financial and accounting duties.
- Oversee general accounting functions and serve as the liaison for the shared service center regarding financial matters.
- Conduct monthly account reviews (balance sheet and expenses) and perform consistency analyses.
- Prepare and submit regular tax filings (VAT, Income Tax, etc.).

- Familiarity with the AEAT mailbox is required.

- Support monthly closing activities.

- Prepare weekly documentation for banking processes.

- Aid the Shared Service Center with reporting packages, balance sheets, and accounting schedules.
- Actively engage in the rollout of a new accounting and management software.
- Comprehend and analyze the financial and accounting workflows of the new system.
- Test processes, report issues, and assist in problem-solving.
- Participate in data migration efforts in coordination with other financial departments.
- Monitor customer collections in partnership with the shared service and management teams.
- Contribute to both internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with established rules and procedures.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

- Experience: 5 to 10 years in general accounting is essential.
- Education: Master’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of IFRS and PGC accounting standards.
- Strong proficiency in SAP and MS Excel.
- Fluent in Business English.
- Must be proactive, self-sufficient, and a collaborative team member.

- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accounting accuracy.
- Excellent analytical capabilities are crucial.
- Preferred: experience in a consulting or auditing firm.
