The Role:

We are seeking Managers to join our rapidly expanding Aviation, Travel, and Tourism consulting division. In this capacity, you will oversee the daily management of consultancy projects, serving as the primary contact for clients, aiding in the development of solutions to challenges through various analytical methods, ensuring that effective project management practices are adhered to, and providing mentorship to junior team members.

While our consultants are expected to possess a comprehensive understanding of the broader aviation landscape, Managers may opt to specialize in one of our three areas: Airports & Tourism, Airlines & MRO, or Aviation Finance. We welcome applicants with a solid track record in any of these domains, whether through direct consulting experience, within the aviation industry, or in a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead consulting teams and ensure timely delivery of solutions for client projects;
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, fostering long-term, trusted relationships;
  • Oversee the creation of reports and presentations that synthesize and clarify analyses;
  • Promote a high-performing and inclusive team environment, mentoring and training junior staff;
  • Support business development efforts by cultivating a network of client relationships, participating in proposal development, attending industry conferences, and contributing to ICF's thought leadership;
  • Foster a collaborative culture both within the Aviation division and across ICF;
  • Develop project budgets, scopes of work, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree from a recognized institution;
  • 5+ years of professional experience in strategy consulting, commercial aviation, sustainability, operational transformation, or aviation finance;
  • Proven experience in managing projects or initiatives and creating structured workflows;
  • Experience in people management, either through direct reports or project oversight;
  • Willingness and ability to travel for work as required.

Professional Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the aviation industry, including sustainability considerations, is advantageous;
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with analytical or quantitative methods;
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills in English;
  • Ability to organize written work clearly and concisely, tailored for the intended audience;
  • Capacity to take direction from senior leadership and implement independently;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word & Excel);
  • Familiarity with other analytical and data visualization tools is a plus (PowerBI, Python, SQL);
