We are seeking a seasoned and visionary leader to join our executive team as the Vice President of People and Culture to support our business objectives. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping a unified global team and driving our ambition to make Softonic the employer of choice.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Culture Transformation: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive culture transformation program that aligns with our company strategy and ambitions to create an inclusive, diverse, and collaborative work environment.
  2. Talent Acquisition and Development: Define and develop innovative strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent who are passionate about being part of our mission and growth journey.
  3. Leadership Development: Ensure we have highly qualified and inspiring leaders and managers, empowering them with training, mentoring, and coaching to lead their teams with confidence.
  4. People Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of people strategies that fuel the success of our evolving company, including designing and developing our organizational structure to support our ambitious transformation and acquisition strategy.
  5. Advisory Role: Act as a trusted advisor and coach to the CEO and executive team, offering insights and guidance that drive meaningful change.
  6. Integration and Unification: Develop and implement action plans to integrate the Spanish and French teams post-acquisition, ensuring a smooth transition and a unified company culture.
  7. Performance and Engagement: Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, and drive employee engagement and satisfaction through initiatives based on KPIs and other HR and business metrics.
  8. Internal Communication: Define strategy for internal communication efforts to ensure seamless information flow across the organization.
  9. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of people, providing guidance and support in all aspects of HR management.
  10. HR Function Oversight: Oversee all HR functions, including forecasting, staffing, onboarding, personal and professional development, performance management, compensation & benefits, career/succession planning.
  11. Innovation and Technology: Continuously seek and implement innovative tools and processes that will take our company to new heights, leveraging emerging technologies such as AI to drive data-driven decision making.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 12+ years' experience in human resources, executive influence, and organizational development within a fast-paced, creative environment.
  3. Cultural Competence: Previous experience in a multicultural environment, ideally in media/internet companies.
  4. Change Management: Proven track record in organizational change and culture evolution.
Professional and Personal Competencies
  1. Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinker who understands how to lead change within dynamic environments.
  2. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, mentor, and build high-performing teams, including developing people managers.
  3. HR Expertise: Deep knowledge and practical experience in using and defining HR systems and processes at a global scale.
  4. Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverages HR metrics and business data to provide insights to the business and enable data-informed decision making.
  5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong facilitation skills applicable across formal and informal (e.g., coaching, mentoring) approaches, and strong interpersonal and developed presentation skills with a proven ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
  6. Results-Oriented: Demonstrated bias toward action, with a focus on making things happen.
  7. Language Skills: Fluent in English and high level in French and Spanish.
