Job Overview
We are seeking an IT Specialist who will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure. This role involves handling hardware and software inventory, managing permissions and licenses, setting up new equipment, and ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new hires. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting IT issues, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining the tools developed by Samara.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all hardware and software.
- Access Management: Oversee the management of permissions and licenses across the company.
- Account Creation: Create new user accounts and manage access rights.
- Onboarding Setup: Prepare and set up equipment for new hires, including operating system installations.
- Offboarding Execution: Manage the offboarding process for departing employees.
- Hardware Procurement: Purchase new hardware and manage warranties and technical support conversations.
- Tool Maintenance: Perform maintenance tasks for tools developed by Samara.
- Password Management: Enforce proper usage of 1Password across the team.
- System Updates: Ensure all equipment is properly updated and maintained.
- IT Helpdesk Requests: Handle and resolve IT helpdesk requests efficiently.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with phone providers and other technology vendors.
- Office Setup: Lead efforts to have a functional and connected office that maximizes productivity.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new features and enhancements.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends to inform future development and innovation.
- Be ready to take on any mission and get involved in the running of the business.
Requirements
Fluency in both Spanish and English is a must. The office serves as your operations center, housing all necessary hardware. Face-to-face interactions are essential for effectively addressing day-to-day IT challenges. We are only considering candidates who can commute to the office daily.
