Job Title: Business Analyst

Nippon Gases is a leading industrial and medical gases company in Europe, with a strong presence in the market. We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team and contribute to the development of our custom web applications.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and improving existing web applications, managing issues and enhancement requests from business users, and creating functional documents to share with the development team. In some cases, they will lead projects to create or extend custom web applications for different regions in Europe.

The Business Analyst will work closely with other IT teams and external technical partners to coordinate activities and ensure the successful delivery of projects. They will also be responsible for reviewing code quality and providing technical input to the development team.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum
  • Fluent English (B2/C1 level) and native Spanish
  • Italian language knowledge is a plus
  • At least 5-8 years of IT and business work experience in similar functions
Technical Skills:
  • Object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework)
  • Familiarity with custom web developments, especially based on Microsoft technologies and platforms
Personal Skills:
  • Proactive, result-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Good communication skills and ability to handle difficult customers
  • Problem-solving/support-oriented attitude
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deal with different stakeholders/teams
