Job Summary

At Sin Nombre, we are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer - Offshore Wind Turbine Towers to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in structural engineering and experience in managing complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and control the toolchain and methodologies used for offshore tower structural designs.
  • Elaborate tower and foundation conceptual and detail design proposals.
  • Lead the development of new tower and foundation components.
  • Interface with external partners involved in offshore wind farm projects, including customers, certification bodies, foundations designers, and subcontractors.
  • Internal execution of engineering tasks required for site suitability and supporting project proposals.
  • Plan and monitor GE activities to ensure on-time delivery of scope of work.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree in Offshore, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in product development and engineering.
  • Experience in structural design, loads, component development, test and validation, transport, and installation.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Knowledge in large structures dynamics, fatigue, and extreme load cases.
  • General knowledge of manufacturing and construction processes.
  • Fluent in English.
  • High level of team working, communication skills, and project management.
