Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our Food and Beverage team at Marriott International. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Set tables according to type of event and service standards
  • Answer questions on menu selections and provide recommendations
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, and product availability
  • Record transactions in our MICROS system
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc.
  • Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights
  • Present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience
  • License or certification in food safety or hospitality
