Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Service Manager to join our team at Radisson Red Madrid. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Banqueting department, delivering exceptional service to our guests, and contributing to the overall success of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Banqueting Department: Oversee the daily operations of the Banqueting department, ensuring that all aspects of the guest food and beverage service experience are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Lead a Team: Work closely with your team to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Manage Departmental Plans: Take ownership of departmental plans and objectives, ensuring that hotel initiatives and targets are achieved.
  • Control Costs and Inventory: Collaborate with your team to control costs and inventory, ensuring that productivity and performance levels are maintained.
  • Build Relationships: Foster effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, promoting the company culture and values.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation and best practice activities, performing follow-up as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in Food and Beverage Service: Previous experience in food and beverage service is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Hands-on Approach: Demonstrate a hands-on approach with a can-do work style.
  • Commitment to Guest Service: Show a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate the ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of duties and tasks assigned.
  • Personal Integrity: Possess personal integrity and the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence.
  • IT Skills: Have experience of working with IT systems on various platforms.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills.
