Business System Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business System Analyst to join our team at Zurich Australian Insurance. As a Business System Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing business requirements and identifying dependencies to align development of new features with other systems.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and consolidate user feedback and support Product Owners in managing the holistic backlog.
- Provide business user support via the ServiceNow platform, triaging and responding to user requests, and assigning them to respective IT teams.
- Analyze business requirements and identify dependencies, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
- Engage and manage a Subject Matter Expert (SME) network, hosting regular clinic sessions as needed, and maintaining collaboration channels.
- Keep training material and user guides up-to-date, upskill the SME network, and deliver required trainings.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in business requirements analysis, business process improvement, and modeling tools, with a general knowledge of Agile methodology and experience preferred.
- Experience in insurance, preferably in international program business, with experience in producing Underwriting/Underwriting Services roles an advantage.
- Understanding of Policy Issuance processes and the life cycle of an International Program would be an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving analytical skills, facilitation, and coordination skills are essential.
- Able to identify and consider business implications of technology applications in the current business environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor approach based on audience and message. Fluency in English is required, with other languages an advantage.
- A high education diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering is required.
