The Service Expert maintains, calibrates, and repairs AVL products, usually on customer's site. A Service Expert provides professional, customer-oriented services according to defined processes and contributes to the continuous improvement of products and services by providing feedback (e.g. service reports, feedback provided to quality/business units).
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to achieving maximum customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
- Support the achievement of high and sustainable profitability by optimizing service operations.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the service business by providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Prepare and support the preparation of (own) service activities to ensure seamless execution.
- Attend to and analyze customer requests, handle and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance as well as calibrations according to available guidelines.
- Document services performed using defined templates (calibration protocols, service reports).
- Provide user support and technical assistance as needed.
- Offer valuable feedback on optimization potentials, customers, products, and services to management, support organization, product management, and quality.
Required Profile:
- Technical education in electrics, electronics, or mechanics.
- Intermediate or superior training in multidisciplinary sectors of the industry (recommended industrial maintenance).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- English (minimum B2 level) and Spanish (minimum B2 level) language skills.
- Strong organizational, responsibility, and autonomy skills.
- Ability to make informed decisions and resolve technical problems.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar position.
