Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with Vodafone Group?
We are establishing a cutting-edge technological HUB (MSH), an international center of excellence focused on the research and development of innovative technical solutions, including Secure Networks, 5G and 6G advancements, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC, and UCC for Vodafone Business, along with various platforms and enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Specialist Software Engineer, your role will encompass:

  • Collaborating with experienced developers to create cloud-based applications utilizing .NET and C#.
  • Assisting in the design, architecture, and deployment of scalable cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Supporting the integration of APIs and web services to ensure seamless data interchange.
  • Participating in code reviews and contributing to the enhancement of code quality.
  • Aiding in the troubleshooting and resolution of issues within cloud applications.
  • Working alongside cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Who You Are:

You possess the following core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

  • A self-motivated individual with the ability to cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Basic proficiency in .NET and C# for object-oriented programming.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and a strong desire to learn AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • A solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of fundamental cloud security principles.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn from senior developers.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing within various delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with React and/or frontend development.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices (OWASP, static code analysis, and remediation).
  • Familiarity with GitHub.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes (Jenkins).
  • Experience with NoSQL Key-Value Databases (DynamoDB).
