Head of Commercial IT Architecture for Advanced Therapies

Position Overview
Novartis is seeking a highly skilled Commercial IT Domain Architect specializing in Advanced Therapies to enhance our IT framework.
The primary objective of this role is to establish the enterprise architecture for the Advanced Therapies sector, focusing on domain architecture standards and methodologies.
As the Advanced Therapies Architect, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that strategic IT investments align with architectural principles within the Commercial Domain. You will oversee the design of project solution architectures that effectively address specific business and technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and articulate various architectural perspectives (Application, Information, etc.) for the future state architecture within the Functional Domain. Ensure compliance with Security and Compliance policies in the solution architecture for the Commercial domain.
- Provide guidance to solution architects within the domain and conduct necessary solution architecture evaluations, adhering to the governance established by Enterprise Architecture. Ensure that key solutions within the domain are documented in an Architecture Handbook stored in a centralized repository managed by Architecture Governance.
- Create roadmaps that outline the progression of the functional Domain's enterprise solution portfolios from their current state to the desired future state. Integrate digital and data technology trends into the solution architecture design.
- Utilize architecture standards, patterns, reference architectures, and other frameworks to develop the most suitable solution architecture that meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Assess solution architectures for their alignment and consistency with architecture standards throughout the solution lifecycle. Effectively communicate and clarify selected elements of the Commercial architecture to relevant stakeholder groups.
