Job Summary:

Oxbridge International School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Art and Design Educator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality art and design education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated art and design lessons that cater to the needs of our students.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and students.
  • Student Welfare and Pastoral Care: Take responsibility for the welfare and pastoral care of your students, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and inclusive learning environment, managing resources and equipment effectively.
  • Extra-Curricular Activities: Organize and participate in art and design-related events, trips, and activities that promote student engagement and creativity.
  • Team Management: Line manage the teaching assistant, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as art, design, or education.
  • Experience: Previous experience in teaching art and design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and assessments.
  • Skills: The ability to differentiate and deliver engaging and inquiry-based lessons, with a strong understanding of collaborative planning and team-teaching approaches.
