Head of Sales MCN CU West Europe Ericsson – Madrid, Community of Madrid, SpainAbout the Role We are seeking a dynamic Head of Sales Mission Critical Networks (MCN) CU West Europe (Spain, France, Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg). Reporting directly to the Head of Customer Unit West Europe, you will be part of the Leadership Team in West Europe and play a crucial role in identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities, while establishing market leadership across key verticals of Public Safety, Railways, Utilities, Defense, and 5G NTN.Key ResponsibilitiesPosition Ericsson as a thought and technology leader, grow our business and build strong customer relations.Generate profitable sales and develop long‑term business in the area of Mission Critical Networks.Apply Go‑to‑Market models, competitive commercial models and strategies.Lead with integrity the MCN Sales team to delight Mission Critical Networks customers and offer best‑in‑class solutions.Drive negotiation in both private and public procurement scenarios.Identify and leverage market opportunities to establish and strengthen our leadership position within the targeted verticals.Drive orders booked, net sales, profitability, and cash flow, including effective management of working capital.Foster strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies and customer satisfaction.Actively contribute to the Customer Unit West Europe Leadership Team.The Skills You BringProven experience in key account management within the ICT industry, focusing on Mission Critical Networks.Strong understanding of Public Safety, Railways, Utilities, and Defense sectors and their unique communication needs.Exceptional ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships.Expertise in consultative selling and commercial acumen.Demonstrated success in driving sales performance and achieving profitability targets.Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.Ability to work effectively across diverse geographies and cultural contexts.Strong leadership and communication skills, with a commitment to collaboration and teamwork.Fluent in English; Spanish & French highly recommended/welcomed.A bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline.At least 10 years of successful and proven experience selling within the vertical sector such as Public Safety, Railways, Utilities, and Defense.Why join Ericsson?
