At ROMEU, we are expanding our customs team in Valencia and are looking for a Customs Specialist who will support import traffic.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the management of international transportation operations and customs processes, focusing on import maritime traffic.
- Prepare customs dispatches.
- Request the necessary documents for customs dispatches.
- Prepare documentation required for inspections.
- Attend and manage any customs‑related incidents in collaboration with other departments.
- Daily management of the DuaTaric program.
- Provide support and reinforcement to the import maritime traffic area. Qualifications
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in a freight forwarding company in similar positions.
- Training in International Trade, Transportation and Logistics, or related fields is desirable.
- Operational knowledge of international maritime transport.
- Experience in document management and customs procedures.
- High level of English, both spoken and written (essential for daily communication with agents and international clients).
