Reporting to Team Lead Breeding Support Purpose Perform routine activities to support breeding and research programs, contributing to the success of plant breeding programs.

Operational Level
Operational Key Accountabilities
1. Prepare seed lots for research/breeding/screening trials, including all required administrative activities.
2. Receipt and administration of the seeds of selected plants and crossing, ensure correct storage in the seed vault.
3. Sowing, monitoring germination after sowing and planting.
4. Coordinate and execute crossing programs and related activities.
5. Sample leaf material or seeds for marker analyses or disease monitoring including adminstration in track and trace tools.
6. Collect routine phenotypic data on plants, fruits and seeds in research, breeding and screening trials. Administrate this data in relevant digital tools.
7. Prepare shipments of seeds including necessary documentation and administration in track and trace tool.
8. Co-responsible for a healthy and safe working environment.
9. Participation in all crop care, seed extraction, cleaning and/or breeding support activities if needed to succesfully execute the plant breeding programs.
