**Neurovascular diseases group**
Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution located in Barcelona (Spain) that

promotes and undertakes innovative biomedical research at the University Hospital Vall d'Hebron. VHIR is

focused on finding solutions to the health problems of citizens, and aims to contribute to scientific,

educational, social and economic development within its specialist fields around the world.

VHIR offers a vacant position for a Researcher (Nurse) to work on the projects related to Vascular and mixed

Cognitive Impairment (VCI) of the group.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- _Nursing Degree (Diploma)_
- Specific/Additional training in geriatric nursing
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English.

**Desired**:

- Specific/Additional training in clinical trials and research projects would be desirable.
- Knowledge of statistical packages such as SPSS, R and others are desirable

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:

- At least 2 years of experience working with SAP management program.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team***

**Desired**:

- Previous experience in research projects and clinical trials in AD as well as other dementias.
- Ability to coordinate patient’s agenda, as well as processing and organizing biological samples.

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Coordinate visits and procedures within research projects and clinical trials carried out in the group.
- Give support to the Research team in active research projects, including biosamples collection, clinical data

collection as well as other tasks needed for studies development.
- Collaborate with other team members in the update of databases and electronic case report forms
- Organize samples processing, collection and databases.
- Prepare and participate in clinical and lab meetings with the Research team and multidisciplinary meetings with

other hospital services/units.

**Labour conditions**:

- Full-time/Part-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: immediate/January, 2023.
- Gross annual salary: 20758 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are

consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
