**Infectious Diseases Group**

The Infectious diseases Group is a multidisciplinary research team that collaborates in the development of new treatments

for HIV, new antibiotics and treatments for tuberculosis through participation in clinical trials and research projects to

improve the quality of life of patients with infectious diseases.

VHIR offers vacancy/vacant position for a Psychologist within the HIV infection group integrated in the Research Area of

Infectious Diseases.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

University Degree in Psychology
- Specific/Additional training in HIV infection:.
- Experience in non-governmental organizations involved in HIV care
- Experience in group therapies

**Desired: -**

Previous experience in clinical/preclinical research activities
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)
- Methodical, well-organized and highly motivated person
- A good computer literacy level; especially an advanced level in MS office

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

At least 5 years of hospital experience in the management of psychological issues and adherence items in HIV
infected patients

Ability to organize courses and formations for patients

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

**Coordinate**/Manage the psychological clinic of persons who live with HIV
- Collaborate with the clinical Unit of HIV infection
- Prepare/Organize a research project for the management of psychological issues in HIV infected patients
- Analyze the database of the different projects regarding psychological issues
- Participation in the meetings related to the project

**Labour conditions: -**

Part-time position: 20h/week.
- Starting date: immediate.
- Gross annual salary: 15.180,83
- Contract**: permanent**
