VHIR offers a vacant position for a Lab/Project Manager within the HIV Unit (Infectious Disease Department)
under the supervision of Dr. Vicenç Falcò and Dra. Maria José Buzón.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

PhD degree (Bio) and proven track record in immunology and/or virology
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)

**Desired: -**

Additional training as a Project Manager in national and international calls

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

At least 5 years of experience working in an HIV-based laboratory
- Knowledge of flow cytometry analyses and Molecular Biology techniques
- Organized and methodical person, highly motivated and with initiative. Ability to work independently as well as

in a team environment.** -**
Knowledge of national and international project calls related to HIV infection***

Knowledge of current guidelines for HIV infection.

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Manage the HIV lab in its daily functions
- Give support to the HIV Clinical Unit in funding acquisition and the follow-up of the clinical projects
- Prepare/Organize lab results of the translational/clinical projects
- Assist with the CEIC and CEEA documentation of the basic/clinical projects

**Labour conditions: -**

Full-time/Part-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: April, 2023.
- Gross annual salary: 30 000€ (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract**:_permanent _
