At the moment we are recruiting a creative **Pastry Chef**, for our partner hotel, a luxurious mountain resort in **Austria, with starting date in July or August 2023**:
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Degree in Bakery and Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the same position, in a luxury hotel or high-quality restaurant
- Fluent in English language
- Knowledge in food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
- Ability of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
- Enhanced attention to detail and creativity
- Strong passion for the art of food design
- Excellent organizing and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask
- Able to work effectively as part of an international team
- International team player spirit and willingness to work abroad
- Groomed appearance, and great physical shape
- EU citizen
**Tasks**:
- Plan, implement and manage daily pastry operations
- Suggest and prepare dessert menus
- Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread
- Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings so that they are appealing to the eye
- Maintain a clean cooking station
- Monitor supplies and ingredients necessary for daily operations
- Train, guide and motivate pastry assistants
- Follow health and safety standards
- Stay up to date with the latest food and industry trends
