**Our opportunity**

We are looking for a Junior Finance and Data Operations Officer and Investment Accounting & Insights. In this temporary job of 6 months minimum, you will have a double role (50%-50%).

On the one hand you will be part of the Finance and Operations department at Zurich Invest AG. As a Finance and Data Operation Officer, you will have the opportunity to gain insights into the operational finance and data processes of a fund management company.

On the other hand, you will collaborate with the Investment Accounting & Insights team, part of the Investment Administration & Accounting (IAA). You will support daily and close activities to ensure correct, complete, and timely accounting data and analytics for standard clients and processes.

**Your role**

**As a Junior**
**Finance and Data Operations Officer**
**your main responsibilities will involve**:

- Take care of the management of accounts payable.
- Ensure that the revenues of ZIAG are booked accurately and in a timely manner, and that they correspond to the underlying contracts.
- Independently conduct project accounting for real estate and proactively clarify any uncertainties with the respective Real Estate Investment Managers.
- Ensure the daily data load into our Portfolio Management System (PMS)
- Monitor data quality and keep the fund information up to date in the PMS
- Support in preparing documentation for external audits.
- Responsible for correct daily processing, posting and clearing of securities transactions, income payments and corporate actions.
- Perform daily settlement operations processes
- Responsible for timely month end closing activities
- Periodic reconciliation of securities holdings and cash account holdings between our systems and custodian banks.

**Finance and Data Operations Officer**
**your skills and qualifications will ideally include**:

- Completed degree, preferably with a focus on finance (accounting, controlling) or business informatics.
- Excellent knowledge of English, knowledge of German is desirable.
- High customer orientation and a service
- and solution-oriented approach
- Interested about investments and keen on exploring technology solutions.
- Experience in collaborative projects.
- Curious and innovative mindset.
- Possibly, leadership experience in extra-curricular activities.
- Team player mentality as well as an independent, reliable, and quality-conscious working style.
- Basic knowledge of a scripting language (preferably Python) and/or SAP PE3 are desirable.
- Good MS Office user skills.
