Payroll Technician

**About the Job**:
Reporting to the Head of Payroll, the Payroll Technician is responsible for managing the payroll in coordination with the stakeholders of the different departments, ensuring compliance with current legislation and the appropriate withholding payment and taxes while collaborating in resolving employee queries.

**We Achieve Together**: You work collaboratively with Operations to gather all the information needed to complete the Payroll process, ensuring all salaries and costs are correct and accounted for promptly

**What will you be doing?**:

- To manage payroll calculations through the Meta4 system and resolution of related incidents
- To ensure that payroll processes are carried out correctly within the deadlines set in the Payroll calendar.
- To work collaboratively with Operations to gather all the information needed to complete the Payroll process, ensuring all monthly and annual salaries are verified with the campaign
- Ensure that all the new personal bank account details are correct for the final payment
- To interact with several external bodies (social security, tax authorities, INE, SEPE, etc.) as applicable.
- To perform the review and analysis of the monthly Payroll Summary
- To support other HR areas in projects and tasks such as the Equality Plan
- Ensure that all documentation related to our internal and external audits is delivered properly
- To provide payroll reports as requested by other business areas
- To support the line managers from different departments in resolving questions about payroll from their teams.
- To ensure confidentiality in payroll information

**Requirements**:
**What skills & experience you will bring to us?**:

- A high level of English (Both written and spoken)
- Effective communication skills
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Accurate when entering data into the system
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and Windows environments.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or other cloud-based document creation and collaboration platforms
- Strong ability to work and follow defined procedures
- Professional outlook and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Good team player that can work independently
- Flexibility to work with different systems, processes, and clients
- Customer-facing experience in travel, hospitality, or related luxury industries (preferred, but not a must)
- Familiar with at least one type of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter )
- Resilience when dealing with difficult customers

- Start date: June, 17th
- Contract: Permanent (1-month probation period)
- Full time: (40 hours/week)
- Working days/Hours: 3 weeks - Monday to Friday - 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, 1 week Monday to Friday - 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
